Bio Oil - Review

We all have some flaws like pimples, scars, dark circles, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, and-so-forth. Every spot and imperfection is due to various controllable and uncontrollable factors and has a story behind it. I believe it is fine to have imperfections, and one should admire them. However, the beauty standard raised these days makes many of us uncomfortable in our blemished skin, and we look for skincare products to heal them as quickly as possible. Skincare products do not work overnight and require religious attempts. Today I will review a multiple purpose facial oil-Bio Oil that can help you get a flawless and youthful-looking face.

Packaging

Bio Oil comes in a white cardboard box with instructions printed on it. The box contains a guidance manual with diagrammatical steps on using the oil and the oil bottle. The bottle is pretty basic and looks peach in color with a white screw cap. Like other serums and facial oils, the bottle doesn’t have a pump; however, it has a tiny opening that allows only a few drops to fall and does not promote product wastage. The packaging is leak-proof, and the smallest bottle comes under TSA’s allowance, which makes it ideal for travel.

Consistency, Texture and Fragrance

The oil inside the bottle looks peach in color; however, it is entirely transparent in color upon application. The oil’s consistency is runny, which does not allow the oil to feel too heavy on the skin. The texture of the oil is pretty wearable. Upon application, the oil merges into the skin quite well, and it does not make the skin looks too oily; instead gives it a nice glowy effect. If you are sensitive to fragrance, don’t worry, the oil has a decent aroma, and it will not irritate your nose.

How to use a Bio Oil?

Pour 3-4 drops of Bio oil on to your clean palms and warm in between your palms. Dab those oiled palms on to the affected areas. Do not rub or massage the oil; instead, just dab, dab, and dab. Dabbing helps the oil to penetrate deep into the skin. Apply a thick coat of moisturizer to the lock the oil into the skin. Repeat twice a day for better results.

  • Perfect for cracked heels, feet, and hands.
  • Works as a cuticle oil as well.
  • Inexpensive.
  • Absorbs fast.
  • Gives a glowy skin.

Cons of Bio Oil:

Not much favorable for people with oily skin.

Will I recommend Bio Oil?

Almost a year back, when I was looking for some facial oil for my traumatic acne scars, I was introduced to Bio Oil by one of my colleagues. Since it was not supremely expensive, I thought of giving it a try with the smallest bottle. I included this oil in my night-care regime, and after using it for a month or so, I could see visible results. Though it didn’t fade my marks completely; however, it did help in dulling their appearance. The is very flight and non-sticky and give the desired glow to the face. Since I have combination-sensitive skin, I like to use Bio oil post my breakouts to fade the appearance of scars or during winters to provide desired hydration to my skin.

I will absolutely recommend this oil to all the would-be new mommies or people who suffer from breakouts to remove the signs of scars and dark spots.

Will I buy Bio Oil again?
